Sindh Education and Literacy Department is going to conduct tests for Teaching License. Teaching License will be given to Government Teachers working in Sindh Education and Literacy Department. 

Therefore, STS IBA Sukkur has announced detailed syllabus for upcoming Sindh Education Department Teaching License Test.

IBA Teaching License Test 2024 Syllabus 

Sindh Education and Literacy Department Teaching License Test will be conducted by IBA Sukkur. 

IBA STS have announced IBA Teaching License Test Syllabus and format. 

Here is the official syllabus of IBA Teaching License Test Syllabus. 

Part-1 (Content Knowledge)

• Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, English and Urdu or Sindhi subjects will be assessed from the 'School Curriculum of Class one to eight (available at DCAR)' in the Teaching License Test.
• This section contains multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of two difficulty levels (Easy and Medium). It is designed to measure applicants' comprehension, application, and analysis skills according to the levels of Bloom's Taxonomy.

Part II (Pedagogical Content Knowledge)

• Pedagogical content knowledge will be assessed from the curriculum developed by the Higher Education Commission for different courses offered in the B.Ed (2.5 years) and B.Ed Hons (4 years) degree programs (please see: https://www.hec.gov.pk/english/services/universities/Revised Curricula/Pages/Education.aspx).
• The test items will cover the main themes of each of the following B.Ed courses while also assessing applicants' pedagogical content knowledge in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and English.

Sindh Education Teaching License Policy and Eligibility Criteria 

The main question arises in aspirant's mind who are interested in applying for Sindh Education Teaching License Test 2024 is that "Who is Eligible for Teaching License Test"?

The answer have been discussed below in detail.

ELIGIBILITY FOR TEACHING LICENCE (ELEMENTARY)

In-service government teachers must have B.Ed. Elementary (4 years/2.5 years) or M.Ed. or M.A. (Education) or equivalent qualification + 3 years' experience. These 3 years can be a combination of public and private sector teaching experience. 

However, please note that as per government promotion rules, all candidates who clear the license test, will still be required to complete 3 years of government service before they can apply for promotion.

Aspiring government teachers (not currently in government service) must have B.Ed. Elementary (4 years / 2.5 years).

Candidates from all domiciles in Sindh may apply for the teaching license test.

NOTE: The 1-year B.Ed. has been de-recognized by HEC and will not be considered here.
